Why does Farm Credit partner with AFA?
Because we believe in the AFA mission, to build bridges for the next generation of agriculture and food leaders. Below you will find a few of the programs we continue to invest in:
- AFA Leaders Conference, a four-day experience bringing together 850 collegiate students to work on their professional skills, make connections with fellow students and hear from folks guiding the agriculture industry.
- AFA Policy Institute, three-day experiences bringing together collegiate students to network, learn and grow with their peers as they navigate the ever changing world of agriculture.
- AFA Student Advisory Team, a group of collegiate students that help plan and facilitate AFA Leaders Conference and AFA Leader Institutes. Student Advisors influence the program environment and overall participant experience.
Since 1997, we've provided nearly $2 million in support toward AFA programs and engaged 200+ team members in the process. We are proud to have over 85 AFA alumni on the Farm Credit team and look forward to that number continuing to grow through our future engagement!
